Life can bring on the pressure. A huge cosmic event (like the full solar eclipse) makes for a pressure cooker.

A yogi knows that’s how diamonds are made.

Diamonds are created deep within the earth while under a lot of pressure. Meditation and mantra take us deep within so we can find our hidden gems.

The dynamic of this eclipse with Chiron (wounded healer) directing the show, has been a grand opportunity to take what has felt like dense coal and alchemize it into glorious, precious gems.

We can learn to recognize where we are leading life from our wounded self and replace that version with our True self. That is the gift of Chiron.

The good (and hard) news is that Chiron will keep working with us to pull us out of our wounding and wants to support us in becoming better and more powerful versions of ourself.

We are meant to upgrade and evolve.

The truth is following divine guidance is hard.

It’s a leap of faith.
It’s nonsensical.
It’s beyond logic.

But when you actually deeply listen and act on those Impulses from your heart:
YOU. CANNOT. FAIL.

You just can’t.

Divine plan is smarter and stronger and surpasses any force that tries to break you.

Divine plan knows who to send your way to make it work.

Divine plan has all the resources you need.

Divine plan knows the highest path and process for your success.

The hardest part is getting present and listening to the deep yearnings in your heart where the divine plan is already mapped out.

If you can listen and be brave enough to do YOU, and hold faith even when it’s not making logical sense , it will work out.

Several months ago a beautiful human walked into my studio. I didn’t know who she was, but I immediately was drawn to her.

Over time I came to learn about Nasreen, her life and her mission. Born as an undocumented individual in a small village in Nepal she endured horrific and impoverished conditions as a child laborer.

By the grace of the divine, she survived modern day slavery and is a brave and bold voice for those who have not yet found liberation.

Yoga brings us out of our suffering.

Obsessive thoughts keep us imprisoned in pain.

To liberate we need to address our deeper fears.

The fears that haven’t made it to the surface.

The fears of persecution, crucifixion and being ousted if we go against the grain.

We need to acknowledge that these fears have been deeply ingrained lifetime after lifetime.

Even in this single lifetime, we’ve seen people being singled out and rejected for having radically different ideas.

Oppression breeds on our silence.

We need to address any norms that feel oppressive.

We need to address the relationships that diminish our light.

We need to acknowledge that psychological warfare is real and it’s happening at levels beyond the logical mind.

We also need to acknowledge that we are more powerful than we know.

What we think, we become.

Kundalini Yoga is a powerful practice that brings you into your power.

It address what’s beneath the surface.

It dismantles old narratives that keep us small and builds new foundations based on a potent and powerful version ourself.

It does this through a simple mantra: Sat Nam

I use to be that person who made a hard pass at committing to things like 40 days of this or 20 days of that or even 7 days of something.

Commitment always felt like imprisonment.
