Make Your Sauna Time A Divine Experience….

While you may enjoy the peace and simplicity of just sitting during your sauna experience, you can also use your special sauna time to meditate, read, stretch, or even do some kundalini yoga! Jai can prescribe a mantra for your sauna experience upon request.  The mantra will be delivered through the sauna sound speakers. 

Before and After Your Sauna Session:

Before:  Please come to your sauna session hydrated and with a towel.  You can wear a bathing suit or underwear in the sauna. 

After:  Living Water will be available for you to re-hydrate. It is recommended to NOT shower for an hour after your session to let the heat work on you. Once you towel dry the sweat from your skin, you will feel refreshed enough to resume work/life activity.  The sweating from the sauna is mostly a clean sweat and will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Common Sauna Use Questions

Jai’s Infrared Sauna is set to temperatures between 100 -130 degrees.  The beauty of an Infrared Sauna is the temp can be lower, but the effects are equally (if not more) powerful. Similar to your yoga practice, your body is heating from the inside out. 

It is recommended to start with a 20 or 30 minute session.  Once you are comfortable, you can book a 40 min sessions. 

Infrared use is recommend 2-4 times a week, although even one session a month will bring you benefits. You may enjoy making a weekly sauna session part of your self care routine. 

The main difference between between an Infrared Sauna and other styles of saunas is the way they are heated.  Other styles heat the surrounding air you are sitting in. Infrared Saunas heat your body directly similar to how the sun heats your body through light. This allows Infrared Saunas to operate at lower temperatures than traditional saunas — typically between 100°F and 140°F. This lower temperature makes them more comfortable for some people, while still promoting a deep sweat and numerous other health benefits.
